Dorene Carrel ~ Astrology Report for November

Astrology Report for November

Guest article by Dorene Carrel
Mercury is highlighted this month, bringing focus to our communication, ideas and how we process new information.  Neptune turns direct and is being challenged by Saturn, which suggests that we are dissolving old structures while stirring up new dreams and visions.  Chiron also turns direct, bringing up areas that may need attention and healing.   We are still under the October Libra new moon cycle until November 11, with a focus on relationships, equality and achieving greater balance.

Venus aligns with Mars in Virgo on November 2, which makes this day highly favorable for romantic encounters or creative pursuits.  The Virgo focus brings in the qualities of dedication, service and attention to detail.  On November 8, Venus enters Libra and aligns with the North Node, reminding us that relationships are also part of our spiritual path leading to higher growth.  There may be a significant meeting under this influence, especially for those born around November 7-9.
The New Moon occurs on November 11 at 19 Scorpio.  It aligns with Mercury, Chiron, Jupiter and Uranus.  Scorpio brings an introspective mood, favoring secrets and mysteries, along with intensity, power, mastery and capacity for transformation.   Mercury in Scorpio favors a deeper intuitive awareness, with Chiron and Jupiter bringing healing and a broader perspective.  The challenge from Uranus suggests the need for adjustments to unexpected changes.  Be prepared for sudden storms or other earth changes. The Sabian symbol for this degree, “A parrot repeats the conversation he has overheard; the capacity to transmit transcendental knowledge.” suggests that we can now evolve through learning to communicate from higher levels of awareness.
On November 18 Neptune turns direct at 7 Pisces.  This is a good week for a spiritual retreat, meditation and creative visualization. It is best to avoid making important decisions now because there may be confusion and lack of clarity.  After the Sun enters Sagittarius on November 22, there is a shift towards more energy, action and positive forward momentum.
The Full Moon occurs on November 25 at 3 Gemini.  It aligns with Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, Mars and Ceres.  Favorable Gemini traits are being curious, versatile and adaptable. Mercury, the natural ruler of Gemini is in Sagittarius, the opposite sign.  This period is favorable for focused learning that includes a higher perspective.  Neptune forms a challenging square to this lunation, which suggests that confusion or deception can affect us.  We may want to act, but could feel blocked by certain fears and anxieties.  A harmonious aspect to Ceres indicates it is favorable to reach out for support or make adjustments to our diet and fitness routine.  The Sabian symbol keynotes for these degrees, “A longing for the preintellectual state of consciousness,” and “The natural assistance of superior powers during crises of growth,” suggest moving beyond the intellectual mind in developing greater perception and awareness.
Saturn in Sagittarius forms a challenging square to Neptune in Pisces on November 26. This aspect reinforces the above Neptune aspects of confusion or deception, but it also brings the dissolving of worn-out structures. There may be a need to let go of a feeling of being victimized or helpless and to take concrete steps for resolution.  We may see how to take a more practical approach to manifesting our dreams and ideals.  On November 27 Chiron turns direct, bringing us greater awareness of our journey towards healing and wholeness.
December brings a direct Uranus station.  Blessings for a joyful autumn!
