Written by Wes Annac, Conscious Oneness
It’s time for a shift to take place. This shift can’t be delivered to us – we have to take full responsibility for bringing it about. We have to become the examples in an example-less society, because we can only change the planet if we change ourselves.
It’s time for us to start acting on the intense love we feel and talk about. As more people understand that this reality won’t change if we can’t cultivate inner peace and see beyond our differences, they step up to the plate and start living the change they want to see.
The rest of the world will follow suit in due time if we can start loving ourselves and each other, and nothing stops us from respecting our fellow man.
The conscious public can make potent changes if we see beyond our respective differences in belief and come together, and if you advocate the spiritual ideas that might’ve led you here, you carry the sacred responsibility of moving beyond the ego and living the qualities of peace, joy and unity.
We have to be the ones to make this change, because nobody will do it for us. We have to be willing to put our egos on the backburner and unite, and presently, far too many conscious camps are divided because of their differences in belief.
We aren’t all intended to interpret spirit the same way, and no two interpretations will ever be the same. Who decided that we have to divide ourselves because of this? Who decided that some of us would put ourselves above others because of our different interpretations?
With how much we advocate a harmonious society, why do some of us seem to lack the most basic unitive foundation – acceptance?
Fellow seekers, let’s celebrate the things we have in common and accept each other for the things we don’t. Differences in belief seem to be the biggest dividing factor for the awakening community, and as conscious as we’re becoming, we still have a lot to learn.
We have yet to collectively act on the basic idea of accepting one another, but I don’t think our unity is far off. I think that the message I’m delivering today will be picked up on by more seekers in due time, and they’ll probably pick up on it within.
The seekers who realize the importance of acceptance are spreading the word and examining themselves to see if they’re in alignment with the things they advocate.
Advocating things like peace and unity is important, but acting on them is the next essential step for us to take. We might not be perfect in our pursuit of unity quite yet, but we can at least start by respecting and loving one another, even if we don’t all agree on the same things.
Why should ideas and interpretations stop us from coming together? I can only imagine how much the conscious community would get done if we all united. There are millions of us!
Imagine millions of conscious seekers, who won’t all agree on the same things, respecting our differences and working together to repair this planet and formally reintroduce spirituality to the rest of the world.
The stereotype about spiritually inclined people is that we’re dreamers who talk about things that sound nice without contributing much to society. Let’s transcend this stereotype and show the world that we aren’t daydreaming all of our time away.
Let’s get to work and bring our ranks together before we branch out to the rest of the world. This will require respecting other people’s beliefs, even if they aren’t your own, and working with them in progressive peace despite any differences between you.
Let’s move beyond the stereotype that free thinkers can’t be free doers, and work together like we never have before. Instead of dividing ourselves, let’s unite and strengthen this movement so the rest of the world can see that we mean business.
We’re ready for a shift, and we’re ready to be the ones who bring it about. We’re ready to move beyond simple talk and show the way with our actions, and the inner peace we’re feeling will help more of us understand unity and acceptance in greater ways as consciousness continues to rise.
Looking around the conscious public, I see that we have a lot of potential but a lot to learn. If you sit in stillness and attune to the Formless, you might realize this yourself, and our realization and action are as inevitable as the revolution of consciousness they’ll cause.
