Bob Fickes ~ How Can I Let It Go?


I have said many times to “let it go”. But even so I hear many people say that they got angry or upset.
So how can I let it go?
Is there an easy way to learn how to do this? Yes! There is an easy technique to help you.
I will teach you an easy process to feel your emotional tension and breathe it out of your body. This is not a process for solving your problems intellectually. This is a process for feeling the tension and breathing it out of your body so you can find inner peace. Inner peace will help you to solve the problem more easily than if you are tense.

Whenever we have strong emotions, particularly anger and pain, our body tightens up and we get tense. Our emotions take over and we cannot control what we feel. No matter how much we try to let it go, it just keeps getting worse.
The first thing we need to do is look to see where in the body we are feeling the tension. Usually we feel the tension in our chest or around the navel. The tension feels like a thick knot in our body and we can’t get comfortable.
When you feel like this, sit down and close your eyes. Feel the tension in your chest or around your navel. Now take a deep breath. Breathe in through your nose and expand your chest as you breathe. That means take a deep breath not a shallow one. Moving the chest as you breathe helps the tension to loosen. This is the most important step you can take towards letting it go.
When you breathe in, imagine that you are breathing in Light through the top of your head. Feel the light and the breath surround the tension, just as if you are lovingly holding the tension in your arms.
Now get ready to breathe the tension out of your body. Hold out your hands with palms open and as you breathe out, send the tension out of your body through your hands. It is best to breathe out through your mouth so you have a full exhale of the breath. Completely let go and let it out!
Breathe out the tension so that there is nothing left but inner peace. You don’t need to be too forceful. Relax and breathe out completely. As you breathe out the tension will naturally go out of your body. Empty your self.
Do this process over and over again for five minutes and you will start to feel better. Don’t worry about what you are angry about. What the emotion is about is not really important for this process. This process is about learning how to move your energy. If you can move your energy, you won’t get stuck! Practice this process enough to feel that you can release your emotions by your self.
Moving the tension out of your body will help you to feel better. As the tension goes, the emotions go. Once the tension goes out, inner peace remains. When you feel inner peace you can know more clearly what to do next. Inner peace brings inner clarity. Inner clarity brings better wisdom and better results in your life. Your life can get better. Step by step you can learn to let it go!
