Bob Fickes ~ Kannon: Bodhisattva of Compassion

Whenever there is a soul in great need, Kannon is the first Master to answer the call.
Her many names: Kannon, Kwan Yin, and Avalokiteshvara all mean “One who hears the cries of the world.”
Whatever karma you must deal with, no matter how difficult, Kannon will help you. I have seen her help people in need many times. Her compassion and her commitment to help are unsurpassed in all this universe.
A long time ago Lord Buddha told his disciples that there were so many souls struggling with the pain of their karma that he wanted one person to volunteer to help them. Kannon was the first one to step forward and volunteer. Buddha told her that this was a difficult job. She would have to go into the darkest places and experience the most difficult pain, but she insisted that she could do it. So Buddha wished her well and gave her a string of pearls to remind her of her commitment.

Kannon was so determined to help souls in pain that she went to the darkest hell first. She stayed there a long time until every soul was set free from their pain. Once she finished there, she went through all the other levels of hell until every soul was set free. From there she went through all the levels of Earth finding every soul in pain and helped them all to be free. Then she went through all the levels of Heaven and set all those souls free of their karma. She was so pleased that now she had fulfilled her promise and set free all the souls everywhere in this universe. What an amazing accomplishment!
As she was returning back to Lord Buddha, she turned around and was shocked to see that all the levels were full of souls in pain again! Where did they all come from? She had worked so hard to help free the souls but now there were more souls in pain and every dimension was full again.
She was so disappointed with herself that she burst into a thousand pieces. Pieces of Kannon were scattered all over this universe!
Buddha heard what had happened and told his disciples to travel everywhere in this universe and gather all of the pieces of Kannon and bring them back to him.
When all the pieces were brought to Buddha, he said a series of Mantras and brought her back to life.
Buddha gave her a gift for all her determination and hard work. He brought her back with a new body that had a thousand arms, and a thousand hands. Each hand had an eye so that she could see all the worlds at once. Now she no longer had to go from level to level! She could work in all the levels at the same time and never overlook new souls who were experiencing pain.
She has continues with her commitment ever since! What incredible determination and commitment! She certainly could choose a beautiful life in Heaven but instead she has chosen to remain in the world with all its karma and all its pain. How amazing!
Whenever we have a difficult time call on Kannon to assist you. If your heart is sincere and you are open to understand your karma and finally let go of it, she will help you.
You can make an offering to her with eight sticks of incense, five oranges, and five cups of tea, plus some fruit and flowers and a candle. Write your name, your birthdate, and your age plus one year on the candle and make your wish.
Tell her that you are ready to learn what you need to understand and walk away from your struggle with karma. Do this for at least three days up to three weeks and your wish can be fulfilled. When it is fulfilled and your karma is cleared, you must do a good deed to say thank you. The good deed can be donations to a temple or shrine, donations to the poor, help someone who is sick, etc. This completes the energy and replaces the karma that was cleared with good merit.
Try it! I have seen many people do this and find relief from their karma. Enjoy!
