Bob Fickes ~ The Many Faces of our Soul

The new born child enters this world and cries out in shock of finding itself in a new body. Just moments ago it was a free spirit floating like the wind in the realm of the soul. Suddenly it wakes up in a physical body and wonders how it got here.
At the end of life, our body dies and everything it did and everything it knew is gone. Then we wake up in the realm of the soul and wonder how we got there.
We go to sleep and we wake up.
The Aborigine would say that the world when we are awake is the dream world and the world when we dream is the real world.

Our soul travels through many forms from life to death to the life in-between bodies and is then reborn back to another life again.
Even in this life, the soul leaves the body through sleep and dream and comes back to being in a body when we wake up. Our adventure in the dream is so absorbing that we forget who we are outside of the dream. Then we wake up and remember that we are this life in this body and what we just experienced was just a dream.
Each moment of our life is important: What happens in our life is important. What happens in our dreams are also important. Each experience that our soul passes through shows us how to move with greater awareness and intelligence. We learn how to be more flexible and how to transform and adapt.
Our soul desires to be free and to explore. Our soul is like the water and adapts to what ever container we enter. But our soul will never stay there forever. Our soul is not this body, nor this identity. When the time of learning is done, the soul will graduate and move to another experience. The Soul is eternal. This life is momentary.
Let us learn as much as we can each moment. Let us always remember we are living through this body and this life to discover something new. Let us be alert at all times even in our dreams and in our illusions. Let us simply enjoy and find deeper understanding in everything we do and in every moment.
