First of all, I do not believe that there is karma out there that has your name on it! I do believe that karma is sticky.
If the karma sticks to us long enough, we may think that it belongs to us and will never go away.
If we think the karma belongs to us, we own it! When we own something, it is very difficult to let go of it.

Here is a suggestion: think of karma as if it were a child that wants your attention. The more you ignore it, the more it will annoy you until you give it attention!
