Today I saw a book about the history of the world. It was such a limited view of human history! History only recognizes what it can see through physical reality. Many years ago I studied Archaeology. The first thing that my professor taught me was how quickly the remains of a civilization can disappear due to natural erosion. She told us if we took a city like Manhattan and put in the middle of the Amazon jungle and came back 100 years later, there would be very little of the city remaining. The buildings and furniture, the cars and technology would have already been eaten away so much that they would hardly be recognized. How can we believe what we have been told that before a few thousand years ago human beings were like cavemen!
The archaeological remains of the Sphinx in Egypt, Mohenjo Daro in India, and Machu Pichu in Peru, all show us that the older the remains, the more advanced the civilization! Each of these once great cultures deteriorated over time.
