This message from Archangel Gabriel packs a powerful message about the concept of grounding, and how to use it to change your consciousness.   The Gabriel Message Card for this Week   Ground any excess energy such as fear, anxiety or anger into the Earth, then bring an open heart into the present moment.   Until late 1988 I was not even aware of the concept of grounding. If anyone had brought it to my attention, I would have asked, "Why?" My life was focused in the upper realms of the Divine, and the Earth held very little interest. That is until something bothered me, and then my emotions would engage and I would be very upset at the way my life on Earth was appearing in that moment. When my mentor suggested the need to ground my thoughts and emotional states, it became clear that I really never felt safe to be in my body. This was a revelation of sorts. I had never felt "at home" on the planet. Like the story of the Mistaken Zygote in Women Who Run with the Wolves, I was sure there had been some mistake and I had landed here by accident. At the very least, I did not believe that my Soul had planned that this Earth, with all its darkness and challenges, was the one I volunteered to incarnate into.

In fact, much of my life at this point seems to be about working beyond 3D and more about learning to live in the higher frequencies and greater expansiveness of the 5D world we have moved into. I find it to be a really interesting time to be alive right now. I am so curious about the shifting frequencies and the magical beauty inherent in the way the Divine Flow of Love is working through all that we are experiencing. It feels like being Home in a way that life in the world has never been.

It obviously came at a time when I was stressed about money and was trying to find a more spiritual way of handling my finances. This message speaks to the heart of our attitudes about money, and opens more awareness to the aspects of our thoughts that need to be uplifted in order to live the abundant life we want to experience. The blessing opens the way for manifestation of what we truly desire to receive in our lives. When we bless something it "confers energy" upon the object of our focus. This blessing uplifts the energy and releases the contraction of fear that holds any sense of lack, feelings that there is not enough energy (in the form of time, money, health, age), all that holds back the gifts of abundant life that we so desire. All life is simply energy manifesting from our focus of attention.

This is especially true when faced with some of the more horrendous experiences people are having around the world. It is difficult to see how there could be a benevolent Universal Presence working in these situations and yet, another name for God is All That Is. God is a word that is probably the most volatile and misunderstood word in any language. More wars have been fought in the name of God than for any other reason. For me, when I use the word God, coupled with my understanding from Archangel Gabriel, it means an infinite power of Divine Love and Intelligence.

It describes the beautiful experience of receiving Divine Light and allowing the power of Divine Intelligence and Love to permeate your energy system. When we are willing to ask for the blessing of Divine Light, our hearts can become an open vessel to receive. This willingness is a huge step in our evolution, especially when life seems so difficult to understand in these fast-changing times. When I was in a dark time a number of years ago, one of my teachers told me that confusion was a great gift because it leads to Clarity. That was difficult to hear, but when I allowed myself to just be willing to receive, it felt like doors in my mind opened to the awareness that was lurking behind the clouds of confusion.

Life becomes easier when we wait and remember that ...for everything there is a season. Having patience is difficult for most people. Sometimes I wonder if it is inertia, that we just get on a roll and find it hard to stop. I have had times when it did not seem possible for me to slow down, because it felt like there was so much to do. Life gets very stressful in those moments.

I use the Gabriel Message Cards to help mereceive the answers I am seeking. I think I want more information than to merely look within. There even may be a part of my mind that wants the decisions to be made very clearly for me. I know this card is telling me to settle down, breathe more slowly, take some time to be still, and THEN I will have the answer. Sometimes my rebellious nature shows up, making me feel impatient. That is when I really need to go for a walk, do some yoga, dance to loud music, or something else of a physical nature.

When we do this, it can take us directly into our hearts, and then from our heart's intelligence we are able to create from a more resourceful place.

What I also have noticed is that if I don't give these old patterns any juice when they show up, they go away very quickly. In fact, they disappear without my being able to remember what it was that felt so in my face a moment before.

It takes intention and some effort to retrain your thoughts to create a focus on this Divine Presence within you.

Sometimes it is difficult to know what to do when faced with situations that seem beyond our comprehension, but that is a time when we can fall back to the power of prayer. Offering a prayer is proactive way to give something positive to any difficult situation. There have been many studies on the efficacy of prayer. All of them have found that healing follows the energy in our prayers. We may never see the results of the blessings we are offering to others, but we can trust that it had a beneficial effect, because that is the promise from science as well as from a spiritual viewpoint.

In essence, it is a Golden Rule teaching. We know that it is important that we treat others as we would like to be treated. Archangel Gabriel is saying that when we do this, it sets powerful energy frequencies into motion that circulate through our lives so we also receive what we give. When I think of how I want to be treated and how I would truly love to treat others, I am attracted to the Buddhist concept ofLoving Kindness. It simplifies everything when I use the attribute of loving kindness as my focal point and basis for all relationships, including with myself.

We can use this energy to co-create a new reality for our lives by aligning ourselves with the higher frequencies of Divine Consciousness and immersing ourselves in the flow of this Lifestream.

We are being asked to live in present time — and keep bringing ourselves back into this holy moment, because the present is our only place of power. It is here that we live from our heart, where our soul’s voice is speaking. Only when I am in harmony with my spirit do I ever feel free. It has been an enormous process of growth to expand into my heart and live from the impulses of my soul. The trust in myself as the extension of my soul's imperatives brings me into the present time, because it is only here that I can receive the truth of my being. In the truth within me is the freedom I desire. The other decision that is being asked of us is to take down the barriers to expressing the fullness of our being — in other words, be the most authentic self we can be in the world. Not only does this require us to be in our hearts, we also need to demonstrate great courage. This authentic part of us is our most sacred essence, something we have protected for lifetimes. Many of us have bold memories of being punished in brutal ways for revealing our most sacred selves. Yet now is the time that we are being asked to bring that true, authentic and beautiful essence forward.

Learning how to resonate with what is the Truth in my heart has been an ongoing process of discovery. I have been recently receiving the message that I need to prioritize. I have so many things that I love and am interested in, I find that I spend way too much time exploring or reading than keeping my focus on what I am working on. This means that I might even have to stop signing those important petitions that save the waters, the animals and the forests until I can complete my Inspiration message :-)

It is as close as your breath.   Have you ever started to feel anxious and confused, and then noticed that you were not breathing? Obviously our breath is a key to staying alive, but it also offers us an avenue for alignment. The yogis say that the Infinite Intelligence lives between our in-breath and out-breath. Our breath is a powerful tool for becoming more calm, settling our mind and creating an alignment within us to our Divine Source. Often the confusion and anxious feelings we are experiencing are because we have separated from our need to breathe more deeply. The body can literally begin to believe it will not get enough oxygen to survive, which causes the anxious sensations. This is also a demonstration that we are out of present time, because in the future or past we forget to breathe.

I was told that you can come to the Ocean of Infinite Abundance with a teaspoon, a bucket or a tanker truck, the Ocean does not care. The Ocean of God's Love is eternally available. You can take as much as you need. This is the Divine Substance in which we live, move and have our being. We swim in this Ocean like a little fish, so much a part of Divine Love that we forget that it is all around us. And yet if we only turn a small part of our attention toward this Infinite Source, our entire being is illuminated with the Light it radiates. What a gift!
