Brad Austen: Climbing the Mountain

Mountains are symbolic in life of overcoming one's challenges and rising to the top and succeeding. We all have different challenges in life to overcome that we have chosen from a spiritual level. As we overcome a challenge, we don't have to address it again, we can move onto bigger and better things. This is also the nature of ascension.

Like a mountain, the journey becomes steeper and more challenging the higher you climb; but the rewards are also greater. When you reach the peak of a mountain, you get to see things from a higher and more expansive perspective. You begin to see life the way God sees things. You see the wisdom in God's plan, and because we are a piece of God, we are the plan. You become the observer in life, not the helpless victim. When you reach the peak, you can take a deep sigh of relief and enjoy the expansive view of the world below.

Brad Austen: Life Lessons

Written by Brad Austen, Mindful-Meditations.

You may have heard before that life is a game; we all play a different part in the drama of life. While we are in the game, it feels very real and sometimes hard to detach ourselves from it emotionally. Throughout our sojourns as a spirit pretending to be human, we experience many roles. We do this to expand our awareness and experience as a spirit and to evolve.

Meditation can be a great tool to learn to silence one’s mind to hear the soft whispers of spirit. Spirit is always there to help guide us in our life, but it is often subtle and easy to ignore. Humanity can be very good at distracting oneself from the life path and lessons we are here to learn. TV, movies, video games, and alcohol can all fill a void and distract us from our missions. In moderation, like most things they are fine for relaxation and entertainment.

Brad Austen: Walking the Path of Enlightenment

Walking the Path of Enlightenment

Written by Brad Austen, Mindful-Meditations.
The path to enlightenment is often called a path because it is a journey through time and space, you don’t simply wake up one day enlightened. It takes time and dedication to the spiritual path over many years and lifetimes. Everyone is at different stages of enlightenment on the planet. Some or more advanced in areas and some are still in infancy in areas. Life on earth supports enlightenment through the challenges, tests and trials we are faced with throughout our life.

On a soul level we choose the tests and experiences before we are born. In this light, there isn’t really such a thing as a “victim”. We always have a choice whether we respond to life through fear or love. Being enlightened doesn’t necessary mean you can walk on water, it means that you have a greater awareness and have stopped living your life by default. It is very easy to live by default; it requires the least amount of effort. It generally requires more effort and consciousness to live an enlightened life.

Brad Austen: Spiritual Growth in Schools – My Vision of the Future

Thanks to: http://cultureofawareness.com/2014/05/28/brad-austen-spiritual-growth-in-schools-my-vision-of-the-future/#more-36616

Spiritual growth and the evolution of the soul in my view should be taught in all public and private schools. We are essentially on this planet, the Earth school, to grow in spiritual awareness and learn lessons. Unfortunately we spend a great deal of our lives learning a skill or preoccupation to obtain material wealth. We are here to enjoy material comforts, enjoy nice food and material pleasures, but it is not the sole purpose we are here. We are here to grow as a person and help others. Balance is the key.

In life we have the opportunity to serve self and others. In fact in many of the lives we live, we play many roles, some serving self and some serving others. Through serving self, we learn self-love and respect. Through serving others we grow in spiritual wisdom and develop compassion.

Brad Austen: The Different Dimensions and Our Multidimensional Selves

The Different Dimensions and our Multidimensional Selves

Written by Brad Austen, Mindful-Meditations.
A lot of material has been channeled in the new age community about the different dimensions and ascension. But what are these dimensions? The Earth has multiple dimensions, which remain invisible until you are vibrating to that particular dimension. Dimensions aren’t so much a place, but a state of being and vibration. The earth is still vibrating physically in the 3rd dimension, but its ethereal body is vibrating in the 4th dimension. Eventually the physical will merge with the spiritual and become a 4th dimension body and so on until the earth becomes a 5th dimensional planet.
The same is happening with our bodies. Physically we are in the 3rd dimension, but our spirit is beginning to vibrate higher. This is a gradual process, for if it occurred in an instant, the physical body would not survive. With the ascension of the planet, we can gradually begin to access higher dimensions and begin to tap into our multidimensional selves.
