An excerpt from the latest Ascension Manual book, from our friends, the Galactic and Angelic beings known as the Collective:
The Ascension Manual – Part Two: Creating a Fifth Dimensional Life
from Chapter 5 - “On Dealing with Old Pain and Anger"Most Lightworkers are now deeply in the process of releasing and healing old situations that have angered or grieved them in the past.
Yet the ego and personality—the old defenses and automatic mental processes—are unsure about this new path you are now on.
They would prefer that you hold onto the old grievances indefinitely.
Thinking they are protecting you, your mind and ego are doing their old job of reminding you of how this person or that behaved badly or did not stand by you.
They do this in part because they are of a lower vibration than your higher mind, which is expressed by your intuition or heart-mind.
They also feel that they are protecting you from ever letting another person or situation harm you that way again.
This is not protection, of course—it is defensiveness, and it does not protect you.
If anything, it serves as a magnet for a repeat of those painful situations.
When these old memories come up, tell them, “Thank you. I love you. I’m sorry I was not able to protect you from this. There is a better way now, a way of peace. I Am now releasing this anger and resentment (or sorrow or feeling of loss), in all directions of time.”
This assures the younger, more vulnerable you that you will care for them, protect them, and never abandon them.
And that there is no need for further grief or fear or anger. That is dissolving now.
You will need to be firm, and to let your ego-mind know who is in control here.
For most assuredly, both ego/personality and mental ruts will prefer to stay in the fight.
Repeat yourself whenever needed.
“I said I am no longer angry [or afraid, or in mourning] about that, and I meant it. Mind! Pay attention! You are fully capable of learning something new!”
Increasingly now, your guides, Angelic guardians, and higher self will show you ways to release any new unhappy moments the instant they occur, so that they neither attach to events of the past, nor become new difficulties that only add to the anger or sorrow you are now releasing.
Bridge the time between the past and that peace-based future with these affirmations.
And rejoice that these old grievances and points of trauma are now coming to the surface.
For you are here now, in the Ascension process, to release everything about the third dimension, and most especially that lower emotional density that keeps you bound to the consciousness of the third dimension, as if it were the only reality possible.
You are choosing a new reality. Be glad for all you have learned in this jou
rney.
Do not pay a former abuser or captor the compliment of having wounded you indefinitely; that serves no one but your wounded ego-mind.
Let that ego-self know that your higher self—your fifth dimensional self—is the new sheriff in town.
And that you wear that badge with pride, and will brook no nonsense, no matter how big the deputy (the mind and ego) think they are.
