With Mercury in retrograde now, everything seems to go the opposite of what we expect. Mercury is the messenger and god of communication and travel. When Mercury travels backwards in the sky, where we want to go and what we want to communicate gets confused with obstacles. We can expect resistances every way we turn.
To add to this condition, the four major planets that rule our inner feelings: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn have united their influences with Mecury. This means a lot of inner turmoil, confusion, and emotion. But these four planets also represent our spiritual goals, what we aspire to become in the future. Behind all of this inner drama, there is a mighty force moving us to make decisions about our future that we have postponed for a long time. The universe wants us to take our steps and will support us to do it if, and only if, we take a step in the right direction. If everything you are trying to do isn’t working, then look inside and see what you really want to be doing. What is your dream? What is that thing you have always wanted to become but never had the courage to step out and do it?
Call on Ganesh! Ganesh is the remover of obstacles, particularly the obstacles of our own ego. Ganesh once was in the same position as you are. Ganesh wanted to do what he was told and follow the rules that everyone abides by. But Ganesh had to surrender his ego and discover the truth for himself. He had to reach deep down inside of himself and discover his Cosmic Consciousness, his Higher Self. Call on Ganesh to help you find what you are really looking for. He will remove the obstacles from your vision and wake up your true power. Tonight before you go to sleep, imagine Ganesh as a young boy with the head of a sweet and loving elephant. See him smiling at you. Say to Ganesh, “I really need your help. I have always heard that you can help anyone who loves you. I love you! Please help me to see what I am looking for. Tomorrow I will join the global group meditation. Please be with me and help me to see whatever I need to see.” Ask and you shall receive. Ganesh is a great friend and ally. Call on him and let your heart open for inner guidance.
